Riikka Gröndahl lives and works in Finland.
She holds a MFA in Fine Art from the University of Gothenburg. Gröndahl's works are documentary-based videos and texts that include elements of performativity and site-specificity. Her interest lies in the act of being human, the representation of the human figure and in the human meaning-making through language, common narratives and actions. Through documentary attachments, her works develop into recontextualised, framed and staged moments of encounters. Gröndahl also works with mixed media painting and drawing. Photo: Jukka Gröndahl |
